GOAL, OBJECTIVE, AND MISSION STATEMENT

Goal of AE Website

After review of this portion of the WIWG Website, a member will understand the duties and responsibilities of the WIWG Director of Aerospace Education (DAE) and of a Squadron Aerospace Education Officer (AEO).

Objective of AE Website

The objective of this portion of the WIWG Website is to educate WIWG members and AEOs of the AE job requirements and resources available to them.

AE Mission Statement

Aerospace education (AE) is that branch of general of general education concerned with communicating knowledge, skills and attitudes about aerospace activities and the total impact of air and space vehicles upon society.

Aerospace education supports science, math, and technology education by providing teachers with the tools to teach the required curriculum in an extraordinary way.

Within CAP, the AE mission is:

  • To educate both CAP members and the general public on the important role aviation and space has played and will continue to play in America’s future.
  • To encourage our nation’s youth to consider aerospace careers and to promote civil aviation to local communities.
